How could you say that you are INDEPENDENT? In India, 15th August has been celebrated as Independence Day since a long time now. But one question that should ar ise in our minds is - Are we really Independent? Just because we have the power and authority to breathe, doesn’t mean we are free. Patriotism has limited itself for days. Be it Independence Day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti, and the list goes on. We have divided roads, divide religions, divided Gods, divided the worship places, divided Humans. We still think if we need Muslim friends. We still blame our Hindu friends for being in power and not giving the minority the proper stature. We don’t even consider Christians, Jews and Parsi a religion. We have reservation for those who don’t need it. We have been criminals in shattering the dreams of many General category students.
